Kogi Democratic Group has carpeted the activities of kogi governor Yahaya Bello that have degenerated kogi to a police state through arrest and detention of comrade Austin Usman okai clamouring for the welfare of the citizens particularly the civil servants and pensioners owed in the last 15 months
A statement signed this afternoon on behalf of the group by the information officer,Abdulsalam Rahman expressed worries on the style of administration of kogi governor,yahaya bello that abhors criticism
Rahman stated that the current administration of Yahaya Bello has adopted autocracy as against the democratic norms who inspite all forms of anti people and corrupt ridden activities wants to have a field day in all its ramifications
The group vowed to continue to tackle the rot in this dispensation in the midst of provocation and connivance with security agents to detain well meaning citizens illegaly particularly the people's social crusader, comrade Austin usman okai
Abdulsalam promised more action on the part of anti government activities except the government is ready to toe the line of the massess,saying the continued incarceration of the social blogger will worsen the whole situation demanding for his release or risk forming an alternative government in kogi state

He assured kogi governor not to be distracted by marauders at the corridor of power and play demi god,saying a term is not a life things as his activities is bereft of a leader
