2019: Senator Andy Uba Clinches APC Ticket Unopposed

Sen. Dr. Andy Uba has finally clinched the sole senatorial ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC for the Anambra South APC senatorial district.

A few days ago, a major contender for the Anambra South APC senatorial ticket, Col. Geoff Onyejegbu (Ph.d), has stepped down and endorsed Uba, saying he is the best among all contenders

Senator Andy Uba's unopposed emergence came as all other aspirants in the race eventually stepped down and have endorsed him to return on the platform of the APC.
