AlhajiAtiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, has arrived the capital of the United States of America, Washington, D.C.
The PDP candidate in a tweet that could be described as a taunt oon the opposition tweeted on Thursday evening at 8.27pm West African Time via his verified Twitter handle, @atiku that he has arrived the United States of America.
The ex-Vice President is in company with Senate President Bukola Saraki, as revealed by the photograph that accompanied the tweet.
Signed in Atiku’s initials AA, the presidential hopeful said he is in Washington, D.C. for “meeting with US government officials, Nigerians living in D.C metropolis and the business community.”
The ruling All Progressives Congress has often said the former Vice President was avoiding traveling to the US because of a fraud-related crime.
