Obasanjo submits self for Covid-19 test amidst late Kashamu's mockery letter

Amidst mockery of late Buruji Kashamu's death, the Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has submitted self for Covid-19 test and the result came out  negative.

The social media have been agoged over a purported condolence letter where the former president mocked late Senator Buruji Kashamu saying he made frantic and successful effort to evade justice but could not escape death. Many have applauded his stance as many others too were against him. 

The former President took the test last Friday, 7 August , 2020, at his Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) Pent House residence, Okemosan, Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.

Reports say the former President’s Special Assistant on Media, Kehinde Akinyemi,  disclosed on Sunday, 9 August, 2020 that the samples of the test, conducted by one Dr. Olukunle Oluwasemowo of the Molecular Genetics Laboratory 54gene, Lagos, Nigeria, was returned negative on Saturday, 8 August, 2020.

The laboratory is one of the accredited laboratories approved by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) to conduct the crucial Covid-19 test on both asymptomatic and symptomatic Nigerians former President took the test last Friday, 7 August , 2020, at his Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) Pent House residence, Okemosan, Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.
