#EndSARS: Gov Sanwo-Olu's Aide, Afonja advocates appointment of more youths, creation of Youths Dept in all Lagos Councils

Afonja, as he is fondly called by his admirers has called for the appointment of more youths into political offices and the creation of Department of Youths affairs in all 20 local government and 37 local council development areas in Lagos State.

Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu's Senior Special Assistant on Youths Development, Comrade Akanbi Ade Saheed made the call on Tuesday, 27th October 2020 in a press statement signed and released to the media.

The young politician and a staunch supporter of the National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu made the call while urging the Youths of Lagos State to rally round the administration of Babajide Sanwo-Olu in his efforts to rebuild Lagos and accedes to the demands of the peaceful protesters of#ENDSARS, which was later characterized by violent conducts of some hoodlums who infiltrated the genuine protesters.

In the press statement seen by News Proof, Afonja said he has already made some recommendations, which includes the Creation of the department of Youth Affairs at local government level just as the Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA) department at the local government level. This he said will help to institutionalized the solutions mostly faced by the youths in the state
