Hon Orwough Scholarship Scheme: Forms Available From Next Week

Hon. Orwough Maurice  scholarship scheme planning committee has announced a date for commencement of issuance of forms to students of first degree of Guma local government Origin.

A statement by the committee chairman, Hon. Jacob Tarkende says forms will be available from next week, applicants are to pick the forms free of charge beginning from Monday, the 25th of March, to Saturday 30th, 2024,  at  the office of the manager Reuphina Hotels, Comr. AtukuJr Ternenge Emmanuel, after tito gate, directly opposite Total Filling station along Kasim Ibrahim road, old GRA, Makurdi during working hours only. (8am-4pm).

The chairman of the committee further reiterated that, ten(10) students from each ward across  the ten wards in the local government making a total of 100 students are to benefit at this pilot stage of the scheme. 

Prospective applicants are to present the following;

1. School identity card.

2. Admission letter.

3.Certificate of state origin.

4. Current semester school fees receipts as well as,

5. Recent passport photograph. 

Members of the committee earlier inaugurated include: Hon. Jacob Tarkende as the chairman, Tor Pav Kange Gbagir as the secretary and Comr. Chief Titus Pems as Coordinator Media and publicity. Other members are president Guma students, Benue State University chapter Comr. Ezikiel Aondo and president Guma students, Joseph Sarwuan Tarka university Chapter,  Comr. Joseph Igbasuwe and comr. Atuku Ternenge PA to Hon Orwough Maurice on community relations.
