The Acting Chairman, Benue State Internal Revenue Service, Mr.Emmanuel Agema FCTI, CNA,ASCON has received well notable and highly esteemed delegation of the Tiv Youth Organization at the Revenue House.
During the visit, the Chairman who received the delegation with warm arms extolled the leadership of the group for their commitment in upholding the virtues and principles of the Tiv people urging them not to be tools used by people who seek to destroy the state.
While stating notable sustainable projects executed by the Governor, the Chairman reiterated the Governor's commitment towards improving living conditions of Benue people and defending the state against attacks, he advised the organization to always support the Governor of Benue State,His Excellency, Rev.Fr.Dr.Hyacinth Iormem Alia in bringing massive development in the state and to the great people of Benue State.
Speaking Earlier, the President of Tiv Youth Organization Comr.Andy Aondongu Anza congratulated the Chairman on his appointment by the Executive Governor of Benue State,His Excellency,Rev.Dr.Hyacinth Iormem Alia, describing the chairman as a Round peg In a Round hole,stating that his appointment was the right decision taken by the Governor.
He praised the leadership prowess and capacity of the tax boss in generating and improving revenue collection in the state which has been optimally utilized for infrastructural development in the State.
He urged the Chairman to collaborate with the Governor to tackle the security challenge that has bedeviled the state and also solicited for collaboration with the service to tackle the menace.
Meanwhile The President TYO assured of the youth's total support in providing adequate surveillance for the authorities to curb banditry and herdsmen attack.
Furthermore,The Board Secretary/Legal advisor, Barr. Ushahemba Dekaa in his closing remarks appreciated the delegation for the visit and prayed God continue to give them the strength and wisdom to collectively work for the growth and development of the State.
