The 3-day summit which began on April 11th to April 13th was held at J.S Tarka Stadium, Gboko, Benue State, with the theme; "Tiv Women: Arise And Rebuild The Broken Walls Of The Tiv Nation".

The summit was organized to bring to the fore, topical issues that have direct bearing on the Tiv Women and promote the ideals of the Tiv traditional institutions by way of contributing to the transformation, development and prosperity of the Tiv Nation and by extension, Nigeria.

He said the payment of bride price should not exceed N1000. Mato noted that if the summit is sustained by organizing it subsequently, it will bring the reorientation that is required to breed a new generation of Tiv women with people-oriented and progressive ideas that will reposition women in Benue State and empower them financially, educationally, psychologically, physically and mentally to contribute enormously to bring substantial positive change in Benue State and by extension, Nigeria.
