A media consultant and analyst, Abubakar Yusuf has commended the Group Chief Executive officer GCEO, Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited NNPCL , Mele Kolo Kyari on the rejigging and major reforms in the corporation particularly in the floating of retail outlets across the country.
The commendation came on Sunday on the heels of the general observation, supervision and conviction across the country the distribution chain of the retail outlets.
He stated aside the lower prices and good dispensing machines, it had reduced the hardship and increased purchasing power of many motorists across the country.
"For Mele Kyari's current leadership in the corporation with the current pricing of N617 for PMS , AGO and DPK sold at at ex- depot prices at retail outlets was the best thing that had happened to ordinary Nigerians.
Yusuf urged the GMD to spread as much as possible the retail outlets to all nooks and crannies of Nigeria, so as to checkmate the shylock activities of the independent and major marketers.
He said the reactivation has also reduced to the barest minimum artificial scarcity and hoarding by sellers of the products, stating that moving to the rural areas across the country will mitigate the high cost of not only buying the products in rural areas, but living.
