Hon. Engr. Japheth Terlumum Igbogo extends his deepest condolences to the family of Gbinde, Konshisha, Jechira Area Traditional Council, Tiv Traditional Council and the good people of Benue State over the death of an icon, Ter Ikyor, His Royal Highness, Chief Thomas Tule Jam Gbinde.
Igbogo paid a courtesy visit on Saturday, 12th April, 2025 to Ter Ikyor before his demise. The visit was the beginning of his political trajectory as he received the blessing of Ter Ikyor not quite long before the news of his demise broke out.
According to Igbogo, late Ter Ikyor brought the power of his presence, his compassion and his position to some of the most vital humanitarian issues of our time. "We loved you and admired your leadership. God knew you are reassuring, and that is why he has called you up there in heaven to watch your back from above.
"You are dead, but your legacy will continue through your deeds and will reignite our hopes to do better. Today the pain of losing you is difficult to bear because this world needed you for some more years", he said.
