... promises to reposition Konshisha for the common good if given the opportunity
Engr. Japheth Terlumum Igbogo, one of those aspiring to represent Konshisha State Constituency in the Benue State House of Assembly, BSHOA and will be contesting the election in the 2027 general election received overwhelming blessings on Friday, 25th July, 2025 to proceed with his aspiration.
The blessings were received at his hometown, Igbogo Abo compound, Mbaimo, Mbawar, Konshisha LGA, Benue State by elders, mothers and youths from his immediate community of Mbaimo.
Before Igbogo was blessed to proceed with his aspiration, he was presented to the elders, mothers and youths by his family member, Mr. Terfa.
Igbogo expressed his deepest appreciation to the elders, mothers and youths for honouring his invitation to express his intention to contest the member of Benue State House of Assembly to represent Konshisha State Constituency and also receive their blessings.
He asserted that the deplorable state of infrastructure and other social amenities in Konshisha ignited his aspiration to represent his people so that he will actualise his wealth of development ideas for the good people of Konshisha.
Elder Iorhen Itiough was extremely impressed with Igbogo's aspiration to become a member of Benue State House of Assembly to represent Konshisha because he has known Igbogo for decades and is absolutely aware of his credibility, accountability and his love for development in any activity he partakes in.
He assured him that he will always pray for him to actualise his dream for the benefit of the good people of Konshisha.
Elder Saawuan Zenda inline with the speech by Elder Itiough extolled Igbogo as a man who places the welfare of others as one of his top priorities and he is in no doubt convinced that he will bring momentous development in Konshisha.
Agreeing with what the two elders earlier said, Zaki Denen Agbenta encouraged Igbogo to remain steadfast and never be discouraged by anyone. He said as a traditional leader, his blessing is open to those who have good intentions for Konshisha.
Speaking on behalf of mothers, mama Lahadi Gugu and Ngueren Iorember said they were in the euphoria of excitement in support of Igbogo who is one of the finest youths they have even known: a man who is passionate about development and cares about those in despair.
They made it clear that their support and those of the mothers of Mbaimo will be given to him and whichever political platform he chooses to contest the election, they will support and vote for him to bring the transformation they all desire.
In their separate speeches, the youths represented by Iorwuese Fate and Kuper Ahwen all agreed with the positions of both the elders and mothers of Mbaimo and pledged their unswerving support for Igbogo to become their representative in the Benue State House of Assembly and empower them to also achieve their respective ambitions.
Engr. Tyem Msugh John, a bossom friend to Igbogo reaffirmed his good work saying that Igbogo made unforgettable impact on his life in Abuja when he thought his world came to an end. He assured them that the years he has spent with Igbogo, he has seen humility, love, compassion and the quest for progress and development wherever he goes.
Elder Zenda finally bestowed his blessing on Igbogo on behalf of the community through the ritual of foot-washing; a sign of spiritual cleansing and forgiveness and being cleansed from attacks and protected to pursue his political aspirations with humility and service.
