Igbogo: A Man With The Penchant For Development

By Terfa Naswem

Engr. Japheth Terlumum Igbogo, a worthy son of Konshisha from Mbawar Council Ward, just like Benjamin Franklin, one of the founding fathers of the United States, believes that infrastructural and human capital development should be taken very seriously by those in positions of authority.

Benjamin Franklin's philosophy of development emphasized practical self-improvement through systematic, daily efforts focused on cultivating a specific set of virtues for progress and identify areas for growth in infrastructure and empowerment of the citizenry. His approach was marked by self-reflection, an active and curious engagement with the world, a desire to solve problems and improve the status quo, and a belief in collaborative work and lifelong learning to achieve individual and societal betterment.

Igbogo in his commitment to make enormous impact on the lives of countless people in Konshisha, Benue State and beyond holds this belief firmly and has been an encourager of development and authentic accomplishments.
