Alhaji Abubakar Aseer Ihongu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Point-man in Vandeikya Local Government Area of Benue State for the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia has assured all those who decamped from Peoples Democratic party (PDP) to APC of fair treatment.
The decamping ceremony took place on Friday, 31st October, 2025 at the Township Stadium, Vandeikya, Benue State.
Ihongu urged all decampees to support Gov. Alia in their various capacities in his transformation agenda for the good people of Benue State.
One of the principal decampees and spokesperson for the decampees, Dr. Cletus Akwaya said he and other decampees made up their minds to join APC because of the good work governor Alia is doing and they are ready to help him deliver on his promises.
