Engaging Minds, Shaping Leadership At The University Of Abuja

It was an honour to be part of the 1st Quarterly Guest Lecture Series hosted by the University of Abuja (now Yakubu Gowon University, Abuja), held at the Faculty of Law Auditorium, Main Campus.

The event featured distinguished personalities from across Nigeria’s leadership and academic space, with His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, Executive Governor of Benue State, delivering a thought-provoking lecture as the Guest Lecturer.

Also present was the Vice Chancellor of the University of Abuja, Prof. Hakeem B. Fawehinmi, who served as the Chief Host, alongside other respected dignitaries including former Benue State Governor, Senator Gabriel Suswam, and several notable leaders and professionals.

As indicated in the lineup: Next to the Governor (before Suswam) is the Vice Chancellor, University of Abuja.

The lecture series provided a valuable platform for intellectual engagement, policy reflection, and leadership discourse—reinforcing the role of academia as a driver of national development.
