Fidei Polytechnic Gboko, the fastest growing Polytechnic in Northern Nigeria earlier on Wednesday, April 17th, 2024 held her 24th Matriculation ceremony.
The Matriculation ceremony which took place at the Polytechnic Matriculation ground was one of the most colourful in recent years.
Delivering his welcome address, the Rector, Fidei Polytechnic Gboko, Mr. Christopher Aper Igbadio congratulated the matriculants and assured them of quality teaching and maximum security.
He further urged them to shun all forms of social vices and face their studies in order to come out with flying colors and also appreciated parents and guidance for entrusting their children/Wards in the hands of the Polytechnic and assured them that they will be trained to be useful citizens of the society.
In his remarks, Benue State coordinator, Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Dr. Titus Lemut appreciated the management of the Polytechnic for always meeting up with JAMB requirements and further stressed that Fidei Polytechnic remains one of the best among the Higher institutions in Benue State.
Also speaking, the Proprietor and Chairman FX Winas Polytechnic, Apa, Benue State congratulated all the matriculants and further appreciated the bond that exist between Fidei Polytechnic and other sister institutions.
Dignitaries who graced the occasion include the Special Adviser on Special duties, Fidei Corporate Institute Chief Joseph Anawa, JAMB, Benue state coordinator, Dr. Titus Lemut, Mr. Justin Ingyagh, the Provost St. Michael's College of Health Technology Ihugh, Chief Emmanuel Mwever, Tyoor Mbatser Gboko Local Government, Chief Agba John Vahan, Tyoor Ugondo Makurdi Local Government, among others.
Highlights of the event include Oath of Matriculation, celebrity display, Cultural dance from NACRISS, CTS and NUBESS among other performances.
