Prof. Sulaiman Mourns Ex-lawmaker, Rafiu, Ibrahim; Condoles Senator Sadiq Umar Over Father's Passing

The Director General of National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, NILDS, Prof. Abubakar O. Sulaiman, has expressed sorrow over the passing of former lawmaker Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim. 

Prof. Sulaiman lamented the demise of the Senator, who represented Kwara South in the 8th National Assembly, as a significant loss.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Prof. Sulaiman hailed the late Senator as a shining example of patriotism, noting his dedication to Nigeria, which will be deeply missed. He extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, praying for his soul to find eternal rest in Aljannat Firdaus.

Meanwhile, Prof. Sulaiman also mourned the loss of the father of Senator Sadiq Umar, who represents Kwara North Senatorial District in the 10th Assembly.

He described Alhaji Suleiman Mora Omar, the Madawaki of Kaiama, as a paragon of virtue, whose life was worthy of emulation.

 He urged Senator Sadiq to find solace in the knowledge that his father's life was characterized by service to humanity and selflessness. He emphasized the noble role Alhaji Suleiman played in shaping the Senator's patriotic spirit through his exemplary upbringing. 

Prof. Sulaiman concluded with prayers for the peaceful repose of deceased' soul.
