The Indefatigable Acting Chairman,Benue State Internal Revenue Service, Mr.Agema Emmanuel FCTI,CNA,ASCON has restated his commitment to collaborate with Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies to improve revenue generation in the State.
He made this statement during a meeting with the Commissioner for Water Resources,Environment and Climate Change Mr.Odoh Ugwu and his team at the Ministry's Conference Hall.
The Tax Czar noted that, for Revenue to be effectively and efficiently collected and generated, there must be a strong synergy with MDAs and the task of Revenue generation cannot be left only for one person.
Recall that, Recently, the Chairman partnered with the department of Tourism in the Ministry of Information, culture and Tourism to enable Benue State Internal Revenue Service Collect Hotel levies successfully.
The Meeting with the Commissioner and the delegation from department of Tourism among others, is aimed at fostering effective synergy to improve revenue generation in the state for development of Critical infrastructures and provision of social amenities to the great people of Benue State.
The Commissioner for Water Resources Mr.Odoh Ugwu also stated his resolve to work with the BIRS for the development of the state.
