Engr. Japheth Terlumum Igbogo commiserates with the families of those who lost their loved ones in the attacks that happened in Yelewata, Guma Local Government Area of Benue State.
The attacks occurred on Friday night, 13th June, 2025 to the early hours of Saturday, 14th June, 2025 between 10:25pm to 2:00am according to some survivors of the attacks.
He described the attacks as unnecessary waste of innocent lives and appealed to both the state and federal governments to work effectively together through comprehensive collaboration to bring a lasting solution to the killings that have brought serious setbacks in Benue State in various aspects of its existence.
He prayed God to grant those who were killed eternal rest.
