In a convivial gathering that ignited the euphoria of genuine excitement, enthusiasm and acceptance of Engr. Japheth Terlumum Igbogo, Mbawar elders, women and youths including people from various political affiliations openly reaffirmed their unswerving support for Igbogo.
The event took place on Saturday, 16th August, 2025 at Wuese park within the market premises in Mbawar council ward of Konshisha Local Government Area, Benue State.
He said if the people of Mbawar find him worthy, they should send him to represent them. But if they find someone else worthy, they are free to do so.
He assured them that his intention is to bring development to Konshisha and not for self-aggrandizement.
Elder Iwar Ityo in his resounding speech reaffirmed his unswerving support for Igbogo, stating that his pertinacious quest to make momentous impact on Konshisha for the common good is the reason he has been accepted and blessed long ago to go forth and achieve his political aspirations.
In their separate speeches, but on the same page, elder Aku Hase and elder Jov Agwen expressed their penchant for Igbogo for being someone who has the development acumen to reposition Konshisha.
Mrs. Queen Nguluga and Mrs Regina Jebga speaking on behalf of women commended Igbogo for the significant impact he has made on the people of Konshisha and assured him of the overwhelming support of women.
Deputy Youth Leader of Mbawar, Ieren inspired Igbogo not to panic since the youths of Mbawar are on his side.
One of the vibrant youths of Mbawar, Comr. Iorhemem Aseen extolled Igbogo as a paragon worthy of emulation for the numerous lives he has touched.
He appealed to the people of Konshisha to give Igbogo all the support he needs to be elected as the member of the Benue State House of Assembly, BSHOA representing Konshisha Constituency when the time comes.
Assuring them, he made it lucid that Igbogo is anathema to abysmal and amorphous leadership as a result, will always put their interest as his top priority.
Aseen appreciated him for his potent contribution at the burial of late Sen. Joseph Akaagerger where he brought T-shirts, face caps, bottle water, food and even gave them transport fare back to their various destinations.
He applauded him for the unity cup he organised in Mbawar which reignited the fragile unity experienced in the absence of sporting activities.
Engr. Michael Ogboji, a very good friend to Igbogo who was on his entourage assured the people of Mbawar that they will never be disappointed if they give Igbogo all the support he needs to represent them.
Elder Iorhen Itiough from the immediate community of Mbaimo where Igbogo hails from commended the good people of Mbawar for having faith in Igbogo whom he holds in very high esteem and convinced that he will not disappoint the people of Konshisha if given the opportunity to represent them.
