Democracy Day Message From Hon. Felix Terese Ngutswen [FTN] To kwande/Ushongo Federal Constituency

As we celebrate Democracy Day, Hon. Felix Terese Ngutswen extends warm wishes for a blissful celebration to all sons and daughters of Kwande/Ushongo Federal Constituency.

Hon. Ngutswen noted that the true definition of democracy is what Abraham Lincoln described: _“government of the people, by the people, and for the people.”_

He pointed out that democracy thrives only when citizens demand accountability from their leaders and take interest in how resources meant for community development are spent.

He emphasized that leadership is about the people. True patriotism is demonstrated when we prioritize the welfare of our people above personal interests. From ashes of pain, we must rise together to build Kwande/Ushongo into the constituency we all deserve.
