It has become very necessary and incumbent on us to do this warfare openly spiritually too, as we engage physically with every arsenal important and available.
We declare and invite all people living in Ushongo LGA, all Ushongo sons and daughters and well wishers worldwide to a seven (7) day fasting and prayers from 23rd - 27th June, 2025. In these we will seek God's help, favour, guidance, intervention, mercy, protection and to draw up power to bind and defeat all our security challenges, enemies and adversaries.
Armed killer herdsmen, bandits, kidnappers, armed robbers, pen robbers, food and home destroyers etc have visited our land in annihilation for total take over. There is war, threats of war, drums of war, deliberate and calculated evil done to draw us to apocalypse.
Here are a few Bible verses to persuade you to the inevitability of the fasting and prayers.
2 chronicles 20:1-29

Esther 4:3 then 4:15-17
Ezra 8:21-23
Isaiah 58:1-14.
INSTRUCTION
We humbly urge you during these seven (7) days to choose a fasting schedule from
06am - 12noon
06am - 3:00 pm
06am - 06pm as it pleases you. You MUST recite the OUR FATHER prayer seven (7) times daily, Psalms 23 and 35 daily as many times as you want and any other prayers of your choice. For the Catholics, you MUST attend the holy mass daily within this duration. You MUST say atleast five (5) decades of the holy rosary daily, you MUST say the thank you Jesus rosary daily, you may add prayers to our Lady and Queen of perpetual help, prayers to Saint Michael the archangel and prayers of the divine mercy.
On the 29th June, 2025 you MUST remember to end your fasting and prayers with the holy mass, service, worship songs or songs of praise in thanksgiving to God for the grace to defeat all our adversaries. Catholics are urged to request plethora of mass intentions for this purpose. All Priests and pastors resident in Ushongo, Priests and pastors of Ushongo birth, Priests and pastors well wishers, we beseech you to include this and other intentions in your holy masses and to further direct and guide the process.
Do not fear or be afraid, for the Lord is our God, what can mere mortals do to us.
The Lord is with us; He is our helper and guardian,
